Woo today was a busy day. Despite a break to go watch Ready Player One with my wife I got a lot done today. The application is now fully usable as a time tracker. It isn’t however useful as a time tracker yet. What do I mean by that? While as it currently stands I can add/archive tasks and track how much time is spend on them all. What I can’t do is see how much time I spent on each task over a time period which is what makes apps like this useful.
So tomorrow is the last day of the week and I still have a lot to do. It’s going to be close.
- I need to add reporting
- I need to add billing and account types(started today)
- I need to add account management(change email/password)
- I need to add a password reset mechanism
- I need a landing page!
The last one I think is going to be the deal breaker for this week as design is not my forte but it’ll be close. Regarding actually doing the launch assuming I finish everything on time I will do a soft launch to the servers Sunday night(EST). Then a proper launch on Monday even though I will have already started the second challenge.
Not happening. I’ve been really slack with this the past 2 days due to having to rush to make up for not putting in enough time at the start of the week and a few things coming up(like day 4 where I did almost nothing!). I’m going to do Twitch for the next challenge to compare the two so I’ll be back to livestreaming again.
